SwimRun UK – Loch Lomond : Inch by Inch

Luss, Argyll & Bute

Mostyn Cottage, Luss, Alexandria G83 8NY, UK

Sun 4th September 2016

Organiser's Description

SwimRun returns to Britain's largest body of water. Loch Lomond : Inch by Inch will offer two race distances for 2016: the long course will feature the same 10 swims totalling 8km, and 10 runs totalling 25km, between and over 10 of Loch Lomond's islands, from Duck Bay to Luss, via Balmaha and the dreaded slog up Conic Hill; the short course will start and finish in Luss, swimming and running around the Luss Inches and The Narrows. SwimRun UK is the newest endurance sport for bored triathletes - inspired by Sweden’s iconic ÖTILLÖ, athletes swim a wee bit, then run a big bit, then swim, then run etc etc.
