SwimRun UK - Snowdonia Llyn i Llyn

Llanberis, Caernarfon, Gwynedd

Welsh Slate Museum, Gilfach Ddu, Llanberis, Caernarfon LL55 4TY, UK

Sat 6th August 2016

Organiser's Description

SwimRun UK is delighted to bring Europe’s fastest growing, and most exciting, endurance sport to Wales, in particular the area around Llanberis, home of course to Wales' highest peak, Snowdon. The finalised route will be published one month prior to the race, but there will be a minimum of 8 swims and 9 runs with a total of approximately 8km of swimming and 38km of running, including almost 2000m of climbing. Snowdonia is littered with stunning wild swimming spots, this race will be an ideal opportunity for bored triathletes to visit many of them in the one day!
