Rutland Water, Whitwell, Oakham, East Midlands

Whitwell, Oakham, UK

Sat 5th September 2020

Organiser's Description

Each September we swim into the night. This is a non competitive event at Whitwell Creek, Rutland Water, where we enjoy open water swimming with the moon and the stars lighting the way. You can swim a 650m course along the Creek, or a 250m loop if you want a more sheltered course and easier access to the shore.

This unique experience will enliven your senses and create an atmosphere you will struggle to replicate. A wonderful evening, with a relaxed fun atmosphere. Swimmers will be issued with glowsticks, a luminous swim hat and glow in the dark wristbands.
