The race starts, runs around the roads inside and finishes within the parks grounds. This will be an accurately measured and chip timed 10k.

Start Time

All marshals and staff within the event and around the course will be issued with PPE and wear gloves and a mask for the duration of the event.

As many race packs will be posted out ahead of the event as possible and event communications will be sent via email in the lead up.

There will not be a formal baggage drop within the event village, please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event and leave anything in the car during the race to reduce contact between runners and staff. If this is not possible, please email info@runthrough.co.uk.

There will be multiple hygiene stations around the event with hand sanitiser for all runners.

You will see clear signage around the event village, please follow all signage and instructions from the marshals before, during and after the race.

There will be a manned, and clearly marked, medical hub within the event village.

The race will start in waves based on your estimated finish time, with the faster runners at the start and slower near the back to avoid any congestion and the need to overtake on course.

There will be an informal grab and go water station with sealed sports top bottles on the course, however we ask that you stay hydrated before the event and if you are able to please bring your own. Bottles and camelbacks are permitted.

If you need to overtake on the course please give a wide berth of at least 1 meter around any runners.

Spitting and nasal clearance during the race is not permitted.

Do not stop within the finish barriers. Please continue past the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.

We ask that once you have collected your medal and water to leave the event village as soon as possible to avoid groups congregating within the event village.

I’ve done this run several times over the last couple of years and it never disappoints.A course, which is well organised, nice for the beginner but also challenging enough for the experienced runner-highly recommended and I hope to run it again very soon

Excellent Event

I'm new to running having only completed 3 previous 10ks. This event was extremely well organised, from being well sign-posted, good car parking, well organised bib collections, supportive and informative marshals combined with beautiful scenery. The weather was fine during the race. It was an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I haven't run for 6 weeks following a fall and totally losing my confidence. This event has put me back on my feet! Thank you to everyone.

Dorothy Peters / Mar 09, 2020

Tatton 10k - a great first race!

This was my first 10k race after 4 years out of running due to illness - it was so well organised, and a very friendly atmosphere! I loved it andv have already booked on to the next race!

Jenny Gallimore / Mar 09, 2020

robert copeland / Mar 09, 2020

interesting conditions

Great organization, shame no bag drop due to weather, but luckily cars not parked far away. Will be back to improve on my time

Susan Swales / Feb 11, 2020

Very well organised run and ran very smoothly considering the storm on the day.

Shannon Warde / Feb 10, 2020

First attempt at the race

It was very well organised from the start. And even given Storm Ciara had decided to put in an appearance, the organisers decided it was safe to continue with the race. The course is undulating as described and very scenic. It’s extremely well marshalled and there’s plenty of volunteers to help if you need it. Lots of toilet facilities, a cafe, parking and refreshments. You wear your timing chip on your shoe.
There are photographers around the course and they take some great pictures even when you look like a drowned rat, the photos are nice. They put them up on their facebook page. I can recommend this race for seasoned runners and those who are new to 10k’s.

Nice 10k route !!

Lovely scenic route set in the grounds of Tatton park. A few small climbs but nothing of great difficulty. Good course marshalling as well offering words of encouragement when you pass by.

Dayle Dwyer / Jan 13, 2020

ADAM ANDREW / Jan 13, 2020

Very enjoyable yet challenging run!

This was my first official timed 10k, so I was very pleased to come in under 59 minutes! The course was very interesting, the back and forth loop at the start kept the interest, and then the run out past the lake was lovely, then the course went out on to the flatter roads - which were good to run. A well marshalled, and friendly course - with lovely medal, t-shirt, and snacks afterwards. Will definitely be back.

Graeme Back / Nov 03, 2019

Well organised, friendly supportive marshalls

Lovely park to run withinin, undulating but nothing too steep. Like this run as it doesn’t involve 2 loops of a 5km, so you are able to see different parts of the park and the country lanes. Great medal... didn’t see any flapjacks though!

Emma Ellis / Nov 03, 2019

5* Event well organised

Great friendly atmosphere, very well organised and great value for money. Great course.

Jonathan Rigby / Nov 03, 2019

Well organised 10k

Really friendly and well organised - not a huge event which was good as it meant everyone was fairly well spaced out. Surprisingly tiring course but fun!

Helen Phillips / Oct 14, 2019

Great race

My first 10k and I had a fantastic experience
Well organised before and during the race with friendly and helpful staff
An undulating course but scenic and managed under the hour which was a bonus!
Will certainly be back

James Mills / Sep 16, 2019

Very enjoyable

Well martialled course, easy to find with good parking. The course is quite flat and the scenery lovely. Fab medal, banana and flapjack at the end. I will definitely be returning, thank you

Lisa Harding / Sep 16, 2019

A very well organised event.

Tatton was a great experience - well run and marshalled with good facilities. You could have a free massage at the beginning or at the end of the race plus at the end you collected a fantastic medal, a banana, bottle of water & a flapjack.the course was varied with not too much elevation so a good place to push for a PB definitely coming back to improve my time. Overall a great day out.

susan Williams / Jun 15, 2019

Good fun

Not a course for a PB, but a nice one nonetheless. Scenic views at points with wildlife nearby. Well organised and good fun.

Bertie T / Jun 10, 2019

Very nice course

Was quite flat and with pretty views. Weather was quite good, warm but nice to run.

Fran Dodu / May 14, 2019

Great course

Great course, fantastic marshals. Disappointed that the free bananas had run out by the time I finished and the flapjack wasn’t vegan! 😕 Still going back next month. ☺️

Daisy Seller / May 13, 2019

Enjoyable and well organized event

A great event in a super location. Really slick and well organized from the point I arrived up to and beyond the end of the race.

Christopher Langan / Apr 15, 2019

A great 10k!

Really nice course, amazing surroundings, staff very friendly from the start to get race number and afterwards when getting water and snacks, will definitely recommend!!

Lewis Whittaker / Apr 15, 2019

Well run, ran on time, off without a hitch

Marshalls & support staff were always easy to find & see. The checkpoint markers were well and accurately positioned, along with the marshalls all being well placed on turns or intersections, often holding tambourines or other percussion to guide you if you're wearing headphones, or battling through the pain!

Laurence Kellett / Mar 12, 2019

Great course

It was a great course, pretty flat and with a great atmosphere

Marcus Stevenson / Nov 29, 2018

Great experience, well organised, interesting course. Good facilities pre and post race and a great souvenir medal. I've done plenty of these types of races and this definitely stacks up as one of the best.

Ben Phillips / Nov 29, 2018

Well run and marshalled with good facilities

Tatton was a great experience - well run and marshalled with good facilities and easy to get to. The run itself was good and varied with not too much elevation so a good place to push for a PB - overall a good day out and I would definitely go again!
