The 401 Foundation Festival of Running

Portishead, Bristol

Wyndham Way, Portishead, Bristol BS20 6EW, UK

Sat 26th August 2017

Organiser's Description

On 1 September 2015, Ben Smith famously set off to complete 401 marathons in 401 consecutive days. His feat made headline news, encouraged almost 10,000 runners to share in his journey, and he raised over £330,000 for two anti bullying charities, as well as much needed awareness of bullying in the UK. Ben's work continues through the legacy of The 401 Foundation. So join us for this new event which will appeal to runners and non runners of all ages, sizes and abilities, with a choice of 5k, 10k and half marathon distances, also 500m and 1mile events for the youngsters. All races take place in and around the beautiful location of Portishead, near Bristol, Ben's home town.
