The Abereiddy 'Blue Monster' Swim

Abereiddy Beach, Pembrokeshire

Haverfordwest SA62 6DT, UK

Sat 15th August 2020

Organiser's Description

This really is a monster of an open water swim. It will see you head off from Abereiddy Beach and follow the southern cliffs of the Pembrokeshire Coast Paths as you head out into the Bay.

After about a mile you will reach the secluded bay of Aber Pwll, and from here you will turn around and head back towards the beach for an Aussie exit, before heading back into the water and swimming along the North Coast line, doing a U turn and heading into the now famous Blue Lagoon, where you will finish. This is a tough swim and should only be attempted by competent sea swimmers.

Distances

2.4 miles, 1 km.
