The BIG Bala Swim

Organiser's Description

Catch Bala Lake Railway's historic stream train along the shores of Llyn Tegid to Llangower Station for a beach start to a 4.5k swim! Or swim a two-way 9k from Bala to the Llangower Station, and back. And to make sure there is something for everyone we also have a shorter swim option of 1.5k. Wetsuit and non-wetsuit places are available!

Surrounded by the beautiful Aran, Arenig and Berwyn mountain ranges, the Llyn Tegid is Wales’ largest natural lake and has superb views and plenty of wildlife to spot along the way.
