The Bison

Dunstable, Bedfordshire

B4541, Kensworth, Dunstable LU6, UK

Sat 8th October 2016

Organiser's Description

For those looking for a seriously tough challenge, The Bison will take place at Dunstable Downs, Bedfordshire, considered a haven for gliding and kite flying - which tells you how hilly it is! In fact, race HQ and transition area sit on the highest point in Bedfordshire. The event kicks off with 2 off-road run loops, which include a steep ascent up the trail steps adjacent to Bison Hill, sapping the energy of even the fittest endurance athlete. And it doesn’t get any easier on the bike section, with 3 loops incorporating the infamous Bison Hill climb, which at its steepest is a 1:4. There really are no hiding places on this course. 2 distance options. Also Bison Trot and Bison Junior.
