The Canalathon

Manchester, Lancashire

MM2 Building, Great Ancoats St, Manchester M4 5AG, UK

Sun 27th March 2016

Organiser's Description

Racing ultra distances across mountains, hills and fells is great for the soul, but the opportunity to record fast, flat, ultra miles is not often achievable. For this reason we created... The Canalathon! Choose your poison: 50, 75 or 100k. No navigation needed, no hill climbing necessary. A choice of 3 ultra runs along the canals of Lancashire and West Yorkshire: 50k across the famous Rochdale Canal Route 66; 75k which continues to Brighouse Locks and comes back the same way to finish at Sowerby Bridge; 100k which continues to Manchester, then returns on the same route to the finish in Sowerby.
