The Plymouth Junior Open Water Aquathlon

Mount Batten Centre, Plymouth, Devon

Mount Batten Centre, 70 Lawrence Rd, Plymouth PL9 9SJ

Sun 29th September 2019

Organiser's Description

A fun and inclusive end of season open water aquathlon! In 2018, the event won Triathlon England SW’s top Junior event of the year, and it promises to be even better this year! With medals for all finishers and spot prizes at the prize-giving (as well as prizes for the top three in each category), there will be something for everyone.

There will be races for athletes across the Junior categories, from a TriStart wave to a Youth & Junior Wave. Although this is an open water event, please don’t be put off – the swim portion of the event takes place in a very sheltered part of the Plymouth Sound at slack tide.

This event is run alongside the Plymouth Olympic Distance Triathlon and promises to be an exciting and action-packed morning of racing for all the family!

Distances

Tristart: 50m / 600m TriStar1: 150m / 1.5k TriStar2: 250m / 2k TriStar3: 400m / 3k Youth/Junior: 750m / 5k
