The Plymouth Triathlon

Plymouth, Devon

Mount Batten Centre, 70 Lawrence Rd, Plymouth PL9 9SJ, UK

Sun 29th September 2019

Organiser's Description

The Plymouth Triathlon returns for 2019, and with medals for all finishers, as well as prizes for the top three in each age category, there is something for everyone. This event is run alongside the Plymouth Junior Aquathlon and promises to be an exciting and action-packed morning of racing for all the family! Although it is an open water event, please don’t be put off – the swim portion of the event takes place in a very sheltered part of the Plymouth Sound at slack tide.

The race will begin with a two lap swim in Plymouth Sound at slack high tide, followed by an undulating cycle route which takes in picturesque country roads heading out to Modbury, before returning back to the Mount Batten Centre. The run will involve a two lap, mixed terrain loop around the Mount Batten peninsula.

Distances

1500m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
