Organiser's Description
Come and join us in our Canicross Friendly Multi Terrain 10K race which is within the beautiful scenery/greenery of Pembrey Country Park and the surrounding woodland and beach, no public highways are used. The course is challenging but perfect for both experienced runners, first timers and fun runners.
All dogs must wear a Canicross Harness and runners must carry 'poo' bags and ensure they clear up anything dropped by their dogs. There will be 'poo' bins at every kilometre marker.
Whilst this is not a mud race we are dependent on the weather so be prepared for some soft ground, standing water and muddy patches.
It is strongly recommended that runners wear appropriate clothing for the time of year, especially footwear, to avoid injuries.
The winners names will be entered onto the main trophy which will be the Warrior’s Sword, there will be photo opportunities and a race video. The course will be well marshaled and manned water stations will be in place. There are also plenty of places around the course for spectators to watch and the cafe and Sloppy Joe’s will also be open.
