Could be even better, but a great race. A few organisational errors - first we couldn’t park at the racecourse, then two days before the event, they changed that. On the day, no parking issues at all. They didn’t advertise that they had pacers, (who were fantastic), and they didn’t advertise their cutoff, a v generous 4 hours so this race is ideal for beginners and slow runners. All toilets at the racecourse were open to runners, so no queueing for one toilet! Great marshalling, three water stations and portaloo stops. Undulating course heads out on country roads and then back into town. A good course for targeting PBs, there are no giant hills and it’s well-surfaced roads all the way. Medal was cute but v small, t shirts had to be paid for, but this is a charity event for a good cause. I plan to be back next year and see if I can break the PB I just set!
