Shocking organisation, good course, bad finish funnel
Arived 8:10 to be turned away and go find another car park. Park, pay, jog down to hunt for number registration after being pointed aimlessly in the direction by marshalls We find the number collection I go to my Letter to be told the physical number has been given to them so i'll need to go to another desk and they will have it.
Queue at the next desk with time ticking away (who are still taking on the day sign ups) eventually get told that my number isn't there only to find it on a hand written sheet assigned to antoher runner when I asked why this was, they arrogantly said 'oh yeah thats been given to an on the day sign up!'
They then had to scramble to fnd more numbers as people who had signed up were without one, after finally getting a new number I asked if this would cause issue with the results they said NO....after a delayed start I run the lovely undulating course in a steady 1:27 make my way through the poorly organised finish funnel only to find a few hours later the results say my time was a shocking 2:15! #FACEPALM.
Overall the course, the medal and the 1/3 free beer ins't worth the terrible hassle #avoid
