Torbay Five Bays Challenge

Organiser's Description

This is a multi-terrain 10k race over beaches, shingle, public footpaths, short sections of tarmac roads, and a long section of rocky and tree root strewn coastal path. Expect stony tracks, mud, steep climbs and descents, narrow single track paths through woodlands, and at total of 423 steps to run up or down. The largest collection of these is out of Fishcombe Cove which has 118 uneven steps. The course has a total climb of 360 metres and starts and finishes at the picture post card setting of Broadsands Beach in Paignton, Devon.
