FAQs

I'M NOT A STRONG SWIMMER, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

Yes, everyone will be given a life vest to wear so even if you are not particularly good swimmer, you will be able to paddle between the obstacles.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?

Please aim to arrive 30 minutes before your pre-booked start wave to allow time for parking, registration and wave assembly. You will then be given a bouyancy aid to wear and provided with a short safety briefing and warm up before getting in the water.

CAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY SPECTATE?

All the locations have access points for spectators to enjoy the events from the land.

WILL THERE BE TOILETS AND A CHANGING AREA?

Toilets will be available plus male and female changing areas.

IS THERE A BAG DROP?

This will be available for a small charge.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Plenty of space will be available, please note that additional charges apply, payable on the day.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

Your ticket confirmation either on a device or printed out.

A towel and change of clothes for afterwards.

Some money for parking and any refreshments and merchandise.

IS THE EVENT TIMED?

This is a fun event and so there is no time pressure to race round the course.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You can wear normal swim clothing or a wet suit if you prefer, buoyancy aids will be supplied on the day. Based on historical measurements the water temperature should be warm enough such that wet suits are not essential.

CAN I CANCEL MY ENTRY?

Unfortunately this is not possible, you can however transfer to another person via the ticketing system.

I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY TICKET, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First check your spam folder and that you are looking at the same email account under which you booked. Next contact us, as occasionally email addresses are entered incorrectly and if so we can check this and rectify.

ARE THERE SHOWERS AVAILABLE?

We are not able to provide showers at this event.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We recommend that you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to allow time to park, walk to the event area, clear registration and prepare for the start.

CAN I BUY ANY TRIBAL WATERS MERCHANDISE?

We plan to have a selection of quality items available for purchase on the day.
