In the month of love – February complete this virtual run and honour Aphrodite by The Greeks or Venus for the Romans. She is the goddess of love, lust, beauty, pleasure and passion. She is syncretized with the Roman goddess Venus. Aphrodite’s name is coming from the Ancient Greek word for “sea-foam” – aphros. Some of the myths featuring the goddess include her birth from the sea foam and her affair with the god Ares.
