Keeping motivated to go running can be hard in the midst of the British winter. 'I Ran Jan' lays down the challenge - keep running during January and you'll earn a limited edition medal.
The Ultra is the big one. Run any distance further than 26.2 miles in one go and not only do you get our serious respect but a free bag of sweets too. You'll have earned it!

Winter motivation, snazzy medal. Signing up for the Virtual Ultra pushed me to do my first 100k ever, despite the usual lack of motivation in January (cold.. wet... no sunlight... brrr). And the medal is spiffy!
