Organiser's Description

This is your chance to go dashing through the Stow and take over the spectacular Waltham Forest Town Hall site dressed as a real running Santa! Yule be sorry if you miss it!

This seasonal celebration sees hundreds of runners get together and complete a chip-timed 5k. Ideal for runners of all abilities, this is an event for solo runners and families alike, whether you need to walk, jog or run for deer-life.

Every runner receives a Santa Suit, a chipped race number, and a brilliant supported run around the iconic Town Hall site. But wait, there's myrrh. After the run, you'll be rewarded with a mince pie, goody bag and a unique Santa-themed souvenir finishers' medal!

How To Get There

By tube/train: Walthamstow Central is a London Underground and Overground interchange station. It is the northern terminus of the Victoria line, and on the Overground has services from London Liverpool Street. The Town Hall is 12 minutes walk from the station.

By car: The venue can be accessed from J4 of the M11. Take the A406 North Circular, then the A503 into Walthamstow at Waterworks Corner.

Parking

The Town Hall Car Park is free of charge at weekends and no permit is required.

Other Information

Registration: 09:30 to 10:15

Race numbers: Available for collection from registration on the day (you won't receive anything in the post prior to the event).

Entries on the day: £2 surcharge, subject to race entry limit.

Course: The course is on a mix of tarmac, grass, athletics track. The course is made up of two laps and is marshalled and signed with arrows and kilometre markers.

Water stations: At the half way point, and at the finish. Plus, we provide a bottle of water and an additional drink in your race goody bag.

Facilities: Attended baggage drop at the Race Hub.

Toilets: Available and plenty and large enough to change in, but please arrive ready to run wherever possible.

Spectators: Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course.

Results: Available instantly via print out at the race (subject to on site wifi connection) and posted online within 24 hours of the race, with email notification by email to every runner
