Welsh 3000s Supported Trail Run

Brynrefail, Caernarfon

Brynrefail, Caernarfon LL55 3NR, UK

Sat 20th June 2020

Organiser's Description

Enjoy a spectacular day on the Summer equinox running the fourteen Welsh 3000ft+ peaks, including some of the best Sky running in North Wales.

The Welsh 3000s covers a distance of approximately 30 miles and 4000m of height gain in the mountain ranges of Snowden, Carneddau and the Glyders. This is a great way to see the Snowden giants in one day, and includes first class scrambling on Tryfan's North face and Crib Goch's infamous knife edge ridge.

This is a tough challenge, run by a highly experienced trail runner with British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications, that gets our highest difficulty rating, but can be undertaken by any determined marathon runner.
