Mon 27th May 2019

Organiser's Description

Along with standard distance open water triathlon, for 2019 a new sprint distance will be added as an introduction to open water triathlon. The course starts with a river swim up and down stream. The flow is normally only strong enough to make a minute or so difference to the upstream and downstream legs. The out and back bike routes are mainly on the fast and quiet A168 to Boroughbridge. The run is on the traffic free Sustrans cycleway between Wetherby and Spofforth.
