Wiggle Peak District Punisher U16

Bakewell, Derbyshire

East View, Coombs Rd, Bakewell DE45 1AQ, UK

Sat 24th September 2016

Organiser's Description

You can be sure of 2 things when taking part in this event, making the most of the Peak District on 2 wheels – and the punishing pain of doing so. With 3,000m elevation gain, it’s no Peaks pushover. It doesn’t take long before the first serious climb presents itself, as you haul up the hills to the historic village of Eyam. Short, punchy climbs and descents follow, before a similar rise in gradient crops up, just after the honeypot village of Castleton. At least the picturesque Peak District provides a stunning backdrop for what will surely by now be a painful exchange with your legs - and there’s a way to go yet! (Date tbc)
