How To Get There

The post code for your GPS is SW15 3PQ

Getting there from the Tube/Train station will need careful planning. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time!! You can get an 85 or a 265 bus to the start of the race, you will need to get off at the Roehampton Vale Campus (Kingston University Roehampton Campus). Use TFL to help plan your journey.

The race will be starting/finishing on Richard Evans Memorial Playing Fields. The pavilion was owned by London Broncos Rugby Club so look out for their signs, there is a big for sale/rent sign out in front now. Be alert for it as it’s a sharp left off the A3. Once you are in the car park you will be able to see the start and finish.

Other Information

Toilets: We will have have portaloos, if you think you’re going to be using the loos please give yourself plenty of time.

Refreshments: There will be water provided at the 4 mile, 6 mile, 10 mile and 12 mile spots as well as at the finish alongside bananas and of course flapjacks!

During the race: We will have a lead bike and marshals all around the course as well as mile signs and arrows. The course is two big laps of the outskirts and inside the park. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park; be aware of walkers, dogs and cyclists.

Please familiarise yourself with the course before you start, there is a mixture of trail paths, well trodden pathway, and grass. The first 1.5 miles of the loop are rather hilly, flat for around 3.5 miles and then downhill for the final 1.5 miles. The course itself has a few long stretches where there may be lots of pedestrians and by then the race will have spread out, all you need to do is run straight, if you have to turn anywhere there WILL be signage and tape or/and marshals.

Spectators: The Start and Finish will be easily accessible for anyone wanting to come and watch the event. You are free to wander around the park.

After the Race: You will be able to collect your T-Shirt and Medal after the race.

Results: Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.

Things to note!: There WILL be pedestrians on the course, so please be aware of this. We have marshals around the course and signs but this is not a road race, you have to pay very close attention to where you are going. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to be aware of your surroundings.
