Wirral Seaside Runs (March)

Moreton, Birkenhead, Merseyside

Leasowe Lighthouse, Lingham Lane, Birkenhead, Wirral CH46 4TA, UK

Wed 27th March 2019

Organiser's Description

The first in a popular series of six monthly road races, providing an indicator of fitness and performance through the Spring and Summer. From Leasowe Lighthouse, near Moreton, along the sea embankment to Harrison Drive, near Wallasey Village. The race is an officially measured, flat, fast, 5k run almost entirely on the concrete sea embankment, with a short section of rough track in the middle. There is usually a good wind from behind, but we can’t guarantee that for any race!
