The 4th Annual Barky Pines Puppy Love 5K:We are so excited for our 4th annual Puppy Love 5k Race and Walk.Thank you so much for joining us! Your support means the world to us and the animals we rescue. You are running / walking for THEM! RACE LOCATION:Commons Park

(Off Royal Palm Beach Blvd between Okeechobee Blvd. and Southern Blvd).
With each race we learn and strive to put on a better event each time. The dedicated course at the park has some tricky spots. SO please watch for signs and volunteers guiding you! Please view the course map to familiarize yourself with the course. TIMELINE:
Race Day check-in will begin at 4:30pm- Early check in and packet pick up will be announced as we are closer to race day
Our National Anthem, will be at approximately 6:15
Race start is 6:30 with chip-timed runners at the start line first. Please stagger start as possible
Fun run/walk with your pet: your start is 6:45 pm behind chipped runners, also staggering start as possible.
Costume contest awards
Raffle drawings Along with the Pet Costume Contest, come early and visit with adorable and adoptable pets.Take a chance on the AMAZING raffle prizes that sponsors donated. Visit our sponsor's booths! Have some fun with photo opps ad be sure to see our Race photographer Leonard Bryant for amazing photos
If you haven't already, please register your pet. We want to be sure to have their packets ready too. If your pet is participating in the costume contest, be sure to sign them up either at early check-in or when you arrive on race day. You get get your costume contest voting sheet at the registration booth to choose your favorite dressed up pet!If you haven't told your family, friends and neighbors about the race, please do! Share on social media using the hashtag #puppylove5kGroup formation is made available and provides discounts for groups over four.Though we do not expect delays, due to supply chain issues these days, any late registrations may have to be mailed their participant give aways after the race. We do apologize in advance if this should happen. Thank you for understanding.We will have prizes for the male and female 1st Place finishers in the following categories:I. 18 and under
II. 19-29
III. 30-39
IV. 40-49
V. 50-59

Vii. 71 and overFor early registrants, prior to January 20, 2023, the price is $40 and includes a t-shirt and medal as well as a "swag bag". On February 1, 2023 the price increases to $45. There will be special rates for children/s school running groups, please contact us for more details!VIRTUAL RACE
For those wishing to do a virtual race, that is also an option! The cost is $40 to include the price for the t-shirt, medal and shipping. After February 1, this price rises to $45.FUN RUN/WALK (WITH OR WITHOUT PETS)
Even more, we will again have our pet walk/run beginning at 6:45 pm for those wishing to dress up their pet and take them on a stroll - come as you are! Please line up behind the chipped runners.This race will be chip timed for those that wish to take advantage of it , but NO PRESSURE . its for leisure and FUN ! We will have a pet costume contest and fun photo ops, along with raffle prizes for the winners!Of course, Barky Pines' finest adoptables will be available for adoption! Many vendors to come as well,. Most of all, HAVE FUN! It's all about the pets!
