This event supports NOT TODAY CANCER and their mission to find a CURE for devastating childhood cancers.
Despite childhood cancer rates being on the rise, only 4% of US Federal Funding for Cancer Research goes to Pediatrics.
When Mason was 9 years old he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His cancer was treated with chemotherapies that have been in use for decades, because there is a devastating lack of funding for new treatments with better outcomes!
For two years, Mason and his family used the slogan “Not Today Cancer'“ as their battle cry and when he lost his fight, the battle continued and this local non-profit was founded in Mason's honor. Scientists are close to a cure to help children like Mason and you can help!
