Organiser's Description
The Great River Road Run is a scenic out and back 10 mile run along the Great River Road Scenic Byway. With the massive bluffs on one side and the mighty Mississippi river on the other, along the way you could see barges moving slowly on the river, you might get a glimpse of the legendary Piasa Bird and perhaps you will even see an eagle soaring high above the bluffs!!! This is a great traditional race held the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year!
