Your participation in this beloved event, as well as your donations to Lory’s Place, continues to assist the team in providing vital support to our hurting communities throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. The financial support through Lory’s Place fundraisers, like Run Walk Rock, go a long way in ensuring safe spaces will be created for those who have experienced the death of someone significant. This work could not happen without you, thank you! Don’t forget to take pictures and post them to our social media pages.
About Lory's Place:Since the opening of Lory’s Place bereavement programs in 2004, we have been honored to support over 50,000 children and adults after the death of a significant person. Our programs reach beyond our facility doors offering over 55 peer support groups in Allegan, Berrien, Cass and Van Buren Counties.
About this Race:This is the 19th anniversary of the Lory's Place Run, Walk and Rock to benefit Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center of Caring Circle, of Corewell Health South(formerly Spectrum Health Lakeland) affiliate. Every year, Lory’s Place is honored and grateful for the community’s support of Run Walk Rock. All of the programs and services at Lory’s Place are available at no charge. That means that no child or adult is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. The children, adults, and families who are part of Lory’s Place join us in expressing deepest gratitude to you for supporting our mission of grief healing.
Tri-Blend Short Sleeve T-shirtTo be guaranteed a t-shirt, participants must register before April 30 to be eligible.Note: If you registered for the 5K Run or 5K Walk from May 1 to May 20th you are not guaranteed an event t-shirt as noted on the registration form. If you do not pick up your t-shirt at Packet Pick Up or Race Day you are not guaranteed a shirt.
