Highlighting the event is the thrilling 4x4x48 Challenge, a 48-hour ultra-running experience inspired by former Navy SEAL David Goggins, where participants run 4 miles every 4 hours. If you're not quite up for the full challenge, you can still join in the fun by signing up for a single 4-mile run. Your participation will directly contribute to expanding the Long Term Care Program at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ, providing essential support for families with medically fragile children. Join us for us for the 2nd annual RUN FOUR Weekend benefiting Children's Specialized Hospital.
Run Four Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation Weekend gives several different options to get involved and support the hospital. From running 4 miles to 48 in a weekend, or just joining us for a meal, together we can help those who have been impacted by a medical tragedy.
Join us for some miles! 1, 4, 12, or 48! However many you wish!
The 4x4x48 Challenge is a 48 hour ULTRA-running event created by former Navy-SEAL, best selling author, and Ultra-endurance athlete, David Goggins.
For these participants, the journey will begin on Friday, March 8rd and end on Sunday, March 10th. We will run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. All runs will be completed together at a "no person left behind pace". We will be using the NEW Alpha Fit Club Westfield (AFC HQ) as our homebase and we will ensure you will stay well fueled throughout the event.
Want to support but not quite game for the 48 hours miles? No sweat! But the team will need your support!

Our core focus is running to raise funds for the expansion of Children's Specialized Hospital's (CSH) Long Term Care Program in Mountainside, NJ, a vital source of comfort for families with medically fragile patients who have complex medical conditions that cannot be managed at home or in a community setting. Our run and your support will help to change the future for children and families in need.
We're running for Children's Specialized Hospital because we believe that all children should have access to specialized care. 100% of every dollar we raise will support the life-changing care at Children's Specialized Hospital that is changing the future for kids with special healthcare needs.
