Sault Strut 5K

Win a turkey!!! Lake Superior State University men's and women's cross country and track & field are hosting the 2nd Annual Sault Strut 5K.  Run or walk the Thanksgiving themed event on Saturday, November 18, at 9am.  Packet pickup will only be available on race morning near the start/finish area beginning at 7:00am.  All participants will receive a Sault Strut medal.  Age group awards for 1st place in age groups 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.  The course is flat and fast mostly on bike path with the start/finish on the indoor track inside Norris Center.  Hot chocolate and coffee will be available to keep you warm and we have the added benefit of indoor restrooms as well.  Turkeys will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers along with the top male and female master.  A costume contest will follow the race with an additional award for best dressed.  All proceeds go directly to support the travel and gear for the men's and women's cross country and track teams at LSSU.  We hope to see you there dressed up in your finest Thanksgiving apparel!  Live results timing by Superior Timing.
