The 2023 ZOO RUN 5K and Ele-FUN-Run is waiting for YOU!
Save the date of Saturday, October 28th on your calendar for a little exercise and lots of FUN! Staged at the worlds greatest animal park, The Columbus Zoo, this is the ideal setting for a family friendly event. Your morning will consist of a 3.1 mile run or walk, and for the kids a 1/4 mile Ele-FUN-Run. Finish inside the park and enjoy the rest of the day at the Columbus Zoo. Did we mention a FREE pass to the zoo and FREE parking?!
WHEN: Saturday, October 28th 2023
TIME: 8:30am-Kids 1/3 mile Ele-FUN-Run (Ages 9-Under) 9:00am - 5K
WHERE: The Columbus Zoo (4850 Powell Rd, Powell, Ohio)
ALL ABOUT IT: Each participant will receive a colorful tee-shirt, race number, finisher medal, post-race refreshments, free parking and most importantly a TICKET TO THE ZOO!!! If you are a ZOO MEMBER, at the end of registration you will see a question that will take $10 off your entry.
RATES: 5K - $45 (non-zoo members) $35 (current zoo members) Kids Run- $30 (non-zoo members) $25 (current zoo member)

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP: Beginning at 7:30 in front of the zoos main entry. Participants who registered as current zoo members will be asked to show proof of membership at the entry gate. Non-members will be issued a ticket in their goody bag. at registration. Note: Family and friends are required to show proof of membership to enter the zoo or they can purchase a discounted ticket ($10) at registration.
EleFunRun begins at 8:30am so we highly suggest that you arrive early to get race packets and not get stuck in line. Zoo members should bring their membership cards.
NON-RACER ENTRY DISCOUNT: If you bring friends and family that are not running or walking in the race, they can purchase discount tickets on race day for just $10.
PARKING: Parking for racers will be FREE.
WATER STATION: There will be one water station on the course.
STROLLERS: Strollers are allowed on the race course, we just ask that you line up near the end for your safety and the safety of other participants.
POST RACE FOOD/DRINK: After you cross the finish line, ULTRAFIT you provide free water and packaged post-race snacks so you may replenish and refresh before spending a great day at the Zoo!
