An Iconic Race Turns 45!The 45th running of the Calgary Police Classic (formerly Calgary Police Half Marathon) will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 and start/finish at Cowboys Park (formerly Shaw Millennium Park).Celebrating its 45th year, the race has a new look, new name, and new venue. The Calgary Police Classic is a fall road race that boasts a fast and flat half-marathon course, a new 8 km event (not the traditional 5 km and 10 km races), as well as a kids race for the first time ever. Did you know the Calgary Police Classic is Calgary's only fall road half marathon?Run Calgary is thrilled to take the reins and be part of an exciting new chapter in the history of the Calgary Police Half Marathon.We’re committed to not only preserving the race’s rich history but also expanding it, taking it to the next level, and making it more inclusive, accessible, and community-driven than ever before.
