On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, Lansdowne Park's Aberdeen Plaza will transform into an arena of competition as teams of 10 take on the monumental challenge of pulling a 10+ tonne fire truck over a distance of 100 feet. This year introduces an exciting new head-to-head format featuring two trucks, where participants will not only showcase their physical prowess but also compete to raise funds for vital local causes, including Epilepsy Ottawa and the Ottawa First Responders Foundation.
The event kicks off with team check-in from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, followed by the competition at 2:00 PM, featuring various categories such as Women, Mixed, and Open. Participants aged 13 and older will have the chance to participate in unique challenges, including the Shawn Mathieson First Responder Challenge, Armed Forces Challenge, and the Coast to Coast Open Challenge. With no registration fee and a fundraising goal of just $1000 per team, the event promises not only fierce competition but also a celebration of camaraderie and community support. Two Trucks. One Epic Showdown.On Saturday, Sept 27th teams of 10 will descend on Lansdowne Park (Aberdeen Plaza), to demonstrate that they have the fortitude to pull a 10+ tonne fire truck 100 feet!2025 brings an electrifying new format: two fire trucks will be pulled in a high-stakes head-to-head showdown to crown the fastest and fiercest team in the city.Teams will compete to see who can pull the truck the fastest, raise the most money for important local causes, and demonstrate the most team spirit.ZERO registration fee - teams commit to fundraising a minimum of $1000!
Maximum 10 people per team. Participants must be at least 13 years old to enter.

The Shawn Mathieson First Responder Challenge invites firefighters, police officers, and paramedics to compete to see who can pull a 10+ tonne fire truck 100 feet the fastest. This Challenge is also open to people in training to become a firefighter, police officers, or paramedics. Any team with at least 50% first responders can participate in this Challenge.
The Armed Forces Challenge invites teams representing Army, Navy and Air Force, or people in training. Any team with at least 50% Military members can participate in this Challenge.
The Coast to Coast Open Challenge invites teams from across Canada to compete against each other to claim their place as the fastest Province/Territory!
The Beast Mode Invitational Challenge invites winning teams of Fire Truck Pulls from across the country to face off!
The Community Challenge invites all other teams who don't qualify for the above listed categories. Community AND friendly competition!
