Pancreatic Cancer Canada's 2025 Run For Survival
Pancreatic Cancer Canada’s Run For Survival (formerly known as Kathy’s Run) began in Edmonton in 2011 in honour of Kathy McCollum, whose life was cut short by pancreatic cancer. Kathy’s passion for running inspired her friends, family, and colleagues to create this event to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research.In its first year, the goal for the run was to recruit 100 participants and raise $10,000. The support was overwhelming: the first run had almost 500 participants and raised more than $50,000. Fast forward 14 years, and the race has since raised over $1 Million and engaged thousands of participants. By participating in Run For Survival, you will help those Canadians impacted by this terrible disease and support our efforts to improve survival rates. In 2025, join us as we continue to raise the rate of pancreatic cancer survival! 5km Run/Walk and 10km run
*Registration of 5K distance (only) for youth 14yo and younger will be a flat fee of $20 and will be automatically applied once DOB is entered during registration.*Team 5K registration requires a min of 4 members to qualify as a team.
