Proceeds from this uplifting event will support local organizations, including BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank. Organiser's Description
The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a 5km run and walk in honour of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett who was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The 2025 event will take place on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, starting and finishing at the Starlight Stadium plaza area, next to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground. The registration cost will include a finishers medal. There is an option to purchase our 2025 technical run shirt for $25 during the check out process. If you wish to purchase a shirt from our 2019 and 2023 events for $10, please go to our website store (https://www.sarahbeckettmemorialrun.com/sbmr-merchandise)A virtual event will also be available for those who do not live in the Greater Victoria and West Shore area. The money raised will go toward two wonderful organizations: BGC South Vancouver Island (formerly the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Victoria) and the Goldstream Food Bank. Registration closes online at 10 am (PST) on May 11th, 2025.
