2026 NB Weightlifting ChampionshipsHosted at Moncton CrossFit through Haltérophilie NB Weightlifting.Eligibility: Open to any athlete and coach registered and in good standing with NBWA or their Provincial Sporting Organization.Events: All IWF weight categories - male and femaleDivisions Men & Women:JuniorSeniorMastersQualification:This event will be a qualifying event for the Canadian Junior, Senior and Masters National Championships 2025/26. Also a Qualifier for the Atlantic Cup 2026 and World and Pan American Masters Championships 2026.Awards:Top 3 in each weight class and division.Best Lifters
Rules: The most recent IWF rule book will govern the competition, with the following exceptions:Singlets are preferred, but not mandatory. Those without singlets may wear close-fitting shorts and a tucked-in t-shirtAthletes who do not register a successful lift in the snatch will be permitted to compete in the clean and jerk.Doping Control: This competition is subject to doping control (SDC). The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) will perform the tests at their discretion. Athletes should be familiar with CCES sample collection procedures.REFUND POLICY: Please note: There will be NO refunds issued for this event
