Action Dash 2026

Edmonton is a city shaped by people from around the world, and Action Dash is a chance to celebrate that diversity together. On June 27, 2026, Action for Healthy Communities (AHC) is hosting a charity run.Taking place in Edmonton at William Hawrelak Park, Action Dash is an annual fun, community-focused charity run. It is organized to support healthy living for all members of our community. We have three events: our 5km and 10km timed events, and our just-for-run 1km event.Action Dash invites people of all ages and backgrounds to run, walk, and show support for programs that uplift newcomers and strengthen community connections. After the race, we will also have food, a cultural marketplace, music, and a celebration of our shared communities. Bring your friends, family, and cultural pride as we move together for a stronger, more welcoming city. If you run every week, or you have never done a fun run before, you are welcome at Action Dash!

Race LocationHere are our routes for the races. (Please note that the routes may change due to weather conditions or logistical changes on the day-- always follow the directions of the race marshalls and other volunteers on the course.)

Race Pack PickupAhead of the race, make sure to collect your race pack, which will have your race bib, t-shirt, and other goodies. Race Pack Pickup will be at The Running Room (8537 - 109 Street) at the following times:Wednesday, June 24, from 4pm to 7pmThursday, June 25, from 4pm to 7pm


Fundraising InformationAHC is a registered charitable organization, incorporated under the provincial Societies Act. Please consider supporting AHC’s commitment to improving the lives of our community members through specialized programming for immigrant children & youth, settlement & employment supports, adult literacy classes, community initiatives and more!We have five tiers of fundraising for our event:
Action Dash Early Supporters: Donate $20.26 in celebration of our inaugural event, and your name will be featured in our Action Dash Run Club, at the event and on our website.

Action Dash - Sponsor a Runner: For $40, you can sponsor one of our vulnerable clients to join in Action Dash. Your name will be featured in our Action Dash Run Club, at the event and on our website.

Action Dash - Bronze Level: For $120, you will sponsor 3 runners to join Action Dash, and your name will be featured in our Action Dash Run Club, at the event and on our website.

Action Dash - Silver Level: For $200, you will sponsor 5 runners to join Action Dash, and your name will be featured in our Action Dash Run Club, at the event and on our website.
