Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, in London, Middlesex, for the inaugural BackRoads Move Her Mind event! This vibrant walk/run is designed to inspire women to embrace movement and overcome the barriers that often hinder their fitness journeys. With routes ranging from 2k to 10k, this event welcomes participants of all paces and abilities, making it a perfect opportunity to get active and support a great cause.
The day kicks off at 9 AM with a shoe demo by ASICS Canada, followed by an energizing walk/run led by the talented young runner, Sawyer Nicholson. After the event, participants can enjoy a celebratory social in the BackRoads taproom, featuring food, coffee, and an empowering panel discussion with local female leaders in health and fitness. A minimum $5 donation at registration will benefit Fast and Female, helping to close the gender exercise gap. Don’t miss out on the chance to connect, inspire, and move together!

The more women move, the better women feel.Yet, over half of the women are dropping out or stopping exercise completely, and all women are facing a myriad of barriers to exercise throughout their lifetime.This International Women’s Day, BackRoads London and ASICS Canada are coming together to change that. Join us on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, for BackRoads' inaugural International Women's Day Walk/Run—an event open to everyone who champions women in sport.Following the walk/run, we’ll host a powerful panel of local women who are breaking barriers and inspiring more women to move their minds. Among them, we’re celebrating leaders like Susana Rosales, who are making a real difference in closing the gender exercise gap.A minimum $5 donation at registration will go directly to Fast and Female.
