Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn, Burlington, ON The race will start and finish at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn near the pier. Seniors 65 and over and youth 16 and under save $10 on registration fees for the 5KM/10KM events.
Donations will support the Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) Program at Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH), which provides a full-continuum model of care, planned and designed according to needs of the patients in our community. Focussed on early detection and early intervention, the JBH MHA Program prevents issues from compounding and becoming more complex in the future by ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time. JBH’s award-winning and innovative MHA programs are designed to remove barriers and the unnecessary challenges for patients and families trying to navigate a complex system.
Tax receipts will only be issued for donations of $20.00 or more.
Operating for over 30 years, Hamilton Food Share is the city’s Emergency Food Shipping and Receiving Hub.
Hamilton Food Share provides resources to 16 member agencies, operating 22 hunger-relief programs across the greater Hamilton region.
These emergency food programs support over 10,400 visits every month representing over 17,600 unique individuals, 34% of whom are children. Additionally, the hot meal programs supported by Hamilton Food Share are serving 29,000 hot meals each month to our neighbours in need.
A $1 donation will provide $5 worth of nutritious food to our community. Your support will ensure our most vulnerable neighbours, like the 6,050 children and 1,668 seniors who line up at a food bank each month, have access to the nutritious food they need.Non-perishable food items will also be collected at the race!Donate Today
