This year, we're thrilled to bring back the Mudskipper SwimRun, featuring 3K of swimming and 8K of running across five exhilarating stages. New for 2026 is the Midsummer SwimRun Relay, where you can team up with a partner for a unique swimming and running challenge. Additionally, don't miss the inaugural Midsummer Trailrun, where you can run 5K or 10K along the picturesque canal shores. Embrace the summer spirit and make lasting memories at this fantastic event!

Midsummer Open Water SwimCome and join us in the beautiful Welland Recreational Canal and pick your distance. Choose from our 2.0K, 4K and 10K distancesCourse: The course will be a 2.0 km loop. All swimmers will do 1, 2, or 5 loops depending on their chosen distance. The Mid-Summer Open Water Swim is open to swimmers of all ages 12 and up. We invite all those interested to join us and enjoy a great swim at this fantastic venue.
Mudskipper Midsummer SwimRun ChallengeYes, its Back for 2026. We are very excited to bring back Mudskipper SwimRun Welland as part of our Mid-Summer Classic. Similar to the swimrun we do in June, this race includes 3K of swimming and 8K of running over 5 stages. A great distance for those looking to give swimrun a try for the first time, and for those who prefer a shorter, faster race! NEW FOR 2026 is our Midsummer SwimRun Relay.
