This event is held to honour the life and memory of Chad Evans, who we tragically lost on August 13, 2023 to suicide. Our goal is to raise awareness of men's mental health issues, raise conversations for so many men who suffer in silence, and spread awareness of the groups that support them. HeadsUpGuys, is a Vancouver based online platform providing life saving resources and education to help our men battle depression and suicidal thoughts, and empowers them to begin to heal, all while maintaining their anonymity. In our first year, 2024, we raised $7,680.53 to date for HeadsUpGuys. Lets see if we can beat that number this year*, helping them to continue their important work. We encourage anyone reading this to visit their website at headupguys.org to see everything they offer, and please spread their name as much as you can.
(*So far, our May fundraiser pub night/silent auction raised $4,149.55 so we're definitely on the way)
