Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Conquer the Lake Running Event on Sunday, June 8th, 2025! Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Country in Central Okanagan, this exhilarating event invites participants to run around the picturesque Wood Lake. Choose from a challenging Half Marathon, an exciting 10km, or a lively 5km Fun Run along an out-and-back route on the scenic Rail Trail. For the youngest athletes, there’s a delightful 1km fun run designed just for kids, ensuring a fantastic day for the whole family!
The Half Marathon is a proud participant in the Interior Running Association's Road Running Race Series, making it a must-do for seasoned runners and newcomers alike. The event kicks off at Beasley Park, with the Half Marathon starting at 8 a.m., followed by the 5km and 10km races at 9 a.m., and the kids’ run at 10:45 a.m. Be sure to stick around for the awards ceremony at 11:30 a.m., where age-group prizes will be awarded, and exciting draw prizes from the IRA will be given out. With race package pick-up starting bright and early at 6:30 a.m.,

Conquer The Lake returns this year in Lake Country, BC on SUNDAY, JUNE 8th 2025!
Run around beautiful Wood Lake for the Half Marathon or a 10km or 5km Fun Run (out-and back route along the Rail Trail). We also have a 1km fun run for kids mid-morning, fun for the whole family.
The Half Marathon is officially one of the Interior Running Association's (IRAs) races in the Road Running Race Series!
As we have in prior years, we are running this event for a local cause, this is TBA when details are confirmed.
START LOCATION: Beasley Park, 3450 Woodsdale Road, Lake Country BC
Race Start Times:Half-Marathon: 8 a.m.5km & 10km Fun Run: 9 a.m.1km Fun Run for Kids: 10:45 a.m.
Awards Time: 11:30 a.m. (in front of the Beasley Community Centre steps)There will be Draw Prizes from the IRA.Age-group prizes will be given out to the top 3 of each age-group.
RACE PACKAGE PICK-UP:Will happen on RACE MORNING this year!Pick-up time starts at 6:30 a.m.Held at the Beasley Community Centre: There will be 2-3 lines, each for the Half-Marathon and 5k/10k to keep it separate.The Kids Run race-bib pickup will be after 8:30 a.m. up until race-time.
There will be no refunds issued 90 days prior to the event due to incurred costs, processing fees and it is a fundraising event. Thank you for your understanding. You CAN transfer to a different distance event by logging into your account :)
