Cyclists of all levels can choose from a variety of scenic routes that promise a delightful experience. Riders can tackle the picturesque 102km or 61km road routes that wind through the stunning landscapes of Colchester, Amherstburg, Essex, and Leamington. For those who prefer a more leisurely ride, the event also features beautiful off-road paths, including the 15km Family Greenway Ride and the 32km Intermediate Greenway Ride. With new routes designed for safety and comfort, you’ll enjoy a day filled with fresh air, friendly faces, and the joy of cycling.
All routes begin and end at the lovely Mettawas Park, where participants can indulge in a delicious locally sourced lunch after their ride. Additionally, the event offers ample parking, route marshals, mechanical support, and prizes for top fundraisers. A great way to enjoy the last of summer's warm weather!The Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour returns to raise funds to help support trail development of the CASO Greenway Trail! Show your love by joining us on Saturday, September 27, 2025, to ride in support of conservation!With new road routes designed by 'Share the Road' for maximum rider safety and comfort, the Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour incorporates all the sights of summer, cycling facilities, quite neighbourhood streets and peaceful back roads! Road cyclists will tour through picturesque county roads along the CWATS route through Colchester, Amherstburg, Essex and Leamington on your way to and from Kingsville! Greenway riders will meander the safe, beautiful, off-road nature trails along the Chrysler Canada and Cypher Systems Group Greenways. Back by popular demand, all routes will begin and end at the lakeside Mettawas Park in Kingsville, and will include a delicious locally sourced lunch.
