Focus Africa Run for Aids

On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, Focus Africa, in conjunction with the Running Room and accredited by Manitoba Runners Association, will host the Focus Africa Run for Aids at St. Vital Park. The event will consist of a 5K Run and 3/5K Walk. We are excited about this event and the effect it will continue to have on our community and beyond! For more information on Focus Africa visit www.focusafrica.caNet proceeds from the event will support Beacon of Hope (BOH) in Kajiado, Kenya. BOH is a multi-use facility/medical centre that provides HIV/AIDS-affected women and children with medical care, economic empowerment, education and community based care. Currently Beacon of Hope programs are expanding to include grandmothers, youth and the training of interns as well as reaching out into neighboring communities.
