Friday, April 18, 2025Bunny Hop - 8:30am10k - 9:30am5k - 9:40amThe Good Friday 5K and 10K and 1K Kids Bunny Hop Races are back and Better than Ever!!! We're happy to be running along the beautiful waterfront in downtown Burlington. This is both a Family and Competitive Event.

Registration will be available until 9:00am on race day and will require participants to register using RaceRoster. No on site cash or direct card payments will be accepted.Race Kit Pick-up: TBDLocation: TBD
Race CourseParticipants will be pleased to be running/walking on a course along the beautiful Burlington Waterfront Trail. The course will proceed west on the Waterfront Trail and then turning south heading towards Burlington Beach.5K Run/Walk - Participants will complete one loop of the course heading out and back on to the trail and Finish back at Spencer Smith Park.10K Run/Walk - Participants will complete two loops of the course heading out and back on to the trail twice and Finish back at Spencer Smith Park.Course Map. 5K and 10 K LoopCourse Map. 1K Bunny HopClick screenshots above to open Footpath course maps and explore!CancellationBRC retains the right to cancel the race due to insufficient registrations, evolving health risks or extreme weather. As a volunteer-run, community-based non-profit organization, our primary responsibility is to ensure we have a safe event and are fiscally responsible.
Getting to the RaceSpencer Smith Park is located along the beautiful waterfront in Downtown Burlington. The park can be accessed easily via Brant St.From QEW Westbound: Take Brant St. Exit #101 and proceed south on Brant St. for about 3 km to Lakeshore Rd. Turn right on Lakeshore Rd. and you will come upon the event venue in 2 blocks at Burlington Ave. on your left at the waterfront.From QEW Eastbound: Take Exit #97 for North Shore Blvd. E. off the QEW. Continue east on North Shore Blvd. for 700m reaching Lake Shore Blvd. and Spencer Smith Park along the waterfront on your right.
ParkingParking on weekends at Burlington Municipal Lots is free.About 400 free parking spots are available at the municipal parking garage on Locust Street next to the the Burlington Performing Arts Center (BPAC). Additional free parking is available at Municipal Lot #7 and #8 north of BPAC on Locust St., at Municipal lot #3 behind the No Frills Plaza on Brant St.. Health & SafetyAs an Athletics Ontario sanctioned event, Good Friday Race at the Waterfront is adhering to the most updated best practices in the endurance event industry. A comprehensive Health & Safety Plan and an Emergency Management Plan have been developed, and various elements of the plans will be put in place should it become necessary. If you have any concerns in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact the race director.
Time Limit10K Run/Walk - The official limit is 120 minutes. However, you are welcome to finish the race in whatever time it takes. If you are over 120 minutes, your race will not be timed.The same 120 minute time limit also applies for the 5K Run/Walk.
