The 7th edition of Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Our Gran Fondo has grown to become a bucket list 'must-do' cycling and cultural experience! As the largest cycling event in Atlantic Canada, we hosted 992 cyclists in 2019. This year's edition will be a special occasion as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of our inaugural event in 2015! Although a timed event, this is more of a self-paced FUN group event, rather than a race. Choose from three distances: 128 km Gran, 67 km Medio and 36 km Piccolo. Cyclists are encouraged to register early to participate in draws to win a free registration or prizes. Due to renovation work related to the revitalization of the Clare Veterans Centre, the 2025 event will be held again at Université Sainte-Anne (1695 Highway 1, Church Point). A meal is included, and cyclists can choose between a vegetarian option, BBQ pork or the perennial favourite, fresh lobster in the shell!$149 + processing fee + HST. Cette édition sera un événement spécial puisque nous célébrons le 10e anniversaire de notre événement inaugural en 2015!Bien qu’il s’agisse d’un événement chronométré, c’est plutôt un événement de groupe pour le PLAISIR en roulant à sa vitesse au lieu d’une course. Trois trajets seront offerts en 2025 : le Gran de 128 km, le Medio de 67 km et le Piccolo de 36 km. Les cyclistes sont encouragés à s'inscrire tôt pour participer aux tirages au sort pour la chance de gagner une inscription gratuite ou un prix. En prévision des travaux liés à la revitalisation du Centre des anciens combattants de Clare, l’édition 2025 du Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie aura lieu encore sur le campus de l’Université Sainte-Anne (1695, route 1, Pointe-de-l’Église). Les cyclistes ont le choix de déguster un repas végétarien, du porc au barbecue ou l’éternel favori, du homard frais!149 $ + frais de traitement + TVH.
