Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the exhilarating Guelph Victors event happening on December 1, 2026, in the vibrant city of Guelph, Wellington! This exciting day marks the start of a fantastic season for runners of all levels, offering a variety of programs designed to enhance your skills and endurance. Whether you're looking to improve your speed with track workouts ranging from 200 to 1000 meters, join in on the 8-10 kilometer Tuesday Tempo Runs, or enjoy the camaraderie of Sunday Long Runs, there's something for everyone.

As part of the Guelph Victors experience, you'll also have access to the Winter Indoor Track sessions at the University of Guelph Fieldhouse, starting January 8, 2026, and the Victors Winter Bootcamp kicking off in January. With eligibility open to all adult runners aged 18 and over, newcomers are encouraged to try out the programs for a week or two before committing. Join us for a fun-filled day of running and community spirit as we kick off an exciting new chapter in the Guelph running scene!

2026 REGISTRATION MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:Winter Indoor Track (starting January 8, 2026) Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:00pm, University of Guelph Fieldhouse, January 9 to March 31Tempo Runs (winter through April, then starting again in October)Tuesdays, 6pm starting from The Running Works, 89 Gordon StreetVictors Winter Bootcamp (starting January, 2026)Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30pm in the gymnasium at Edward Johnson Public SchoolSpring to Fall Outdoor Track (starting April, 2026) Tuesdays, 6:00pm and 6:45pm at the St. James High School trackRWXGV Sunday Long Runs (through the whole year)Sundays, 8:00am starting from The Running Works, 89 Gordon StreetWHAT WE DO:Track Workouts involve running short intervals (from 200 to 1000 metres), at faster than 5K race pace, with recovery periods in between. There will be a Victors coach present to explain the workout and answer any training or pacing questions. Tuesday Tempo Runs are 8-10 kilometre group runs and are meant to be run at around a half marathon or full marathon race pace. Please note: lights and vests are required (see The Running Works store).Sunday Long Runs are held in conjunction with The Running Works store. For workout information see our website. ELIGIBILITY:The Guelph Victors welcomes all ADULT runners (minimum age: 18).For youth running programs, please visit Royal City Athletics Club.Write to [email protected] if you wish to participate but cannot afford the fee for any reason.NEWCOMERS:You're welcome to try us out for a week or two before paying the membership fee. We want you to be sure you're comfortable with our programs before committing! Please introduce yourself when you first attend the track. Ask for coach Colin or one of the club leaders (Karl, Lorraine, Lee, Brian, George, Chelsea, Stephen, Laura, Brandon).
