With a variety of race distances including a thrilling timed 5K run, a 2.8km walk and wheel route for those using wheelchairs, and a delightful Kids Dash (210m) for ages 2-7, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The festivities kick off bright and early at 9:00 am with registration and T-shirt pick-up, followed by a warm-up session at 10:15 am. The Kids Dash starts at 10:30 am, leading into the main 5K run at 10:55 am, with the walk and wheel event commencing shortly after. This year, family-friendly features like NEST Realty's Great Pumpkin Giveaway, a vibrant Vendor Market, face painting, and family photography will add to the excitement. Harvest Hustle: 5K Run & Wheel presented by AutolivCommunity Living Chatham-Kent is gearing up for our 5K Run & Wheel on Saturday, October 18th, at the Mud Creek Trail — with the help of our Gold Sponsors, AlphaKOR and Chatham Honda!This year, we’re excited to introduce new family-friendly fall features including NEST Realty's Great Pumpkin Giveaway, Vendor Market opportunities, face painting and more!Schedule:
9:00am – Registration, T-shirt pick up, Market Open
10:15am – Welcoming + Warm Up
10:30am – Kids Dash
10:55am – 5K Run begins
11:00am – Walk & Wheel begins | Face Painting | Family Photography The Kids Dash is a short run/walk (210m) for ages 2-7. There is a route for Walkers and Wheelers (2.8km, only wheelchairs, no bicycles), and of course a timed 5K route for runners. It is a wonderful family event! No matter which element you take part in, everyone will receive a finisher medal. Kids/Youth can register for any race.Please note we can only guarantee enough medals, hats and t-shirts (if purchased) on event day for individuals who registered before October 1st, 2025. We can make arrangements with participants who register after this date to receive their medal after event day.If registration closes before you are able to register, please note we will be taking registrations day-of at the event.Refunds are unavailable for cancellations of registrations and t-shirts prior to event.
