This heartwarming event invites participants to hike in their favorite locations, whether it's at a family cottage, workplace, or around the neighborhood. Kick off the day with registration at 10:30 am, followed by a moment of reflection at 11:00 am and a group walk at 11:15 am. Celebrate your hike with a lively BBQ lunch, music, and games starting at 11:30 am, making it a perfect day for participants of all ages.
This year, we're excited to feature the Memorial Hikers' Wall, where you can share your stories to honor loved ones. Set a fundraising goal for your team, with just $350 covering a day of care for one resident room at Rotary Hospice. Don't miss the chance to join the fun and make a difference! Whether you’re hiking on-site or at your chosen location, your participation helps support those in need. Be sure to register by May 15th for a chance to win a fabulous prize! Let's make every step count for those who will call Rotary Hospice home.

*Calling All Early Birds!* All participants who register before Thursday, May 15th at midnight will be entered into a draw to win a fabulous prize!Join us at the Stratford Perth Museum on Sunday, June 22nd or choose to Hike on your Site - whether that be at a family cottage, at your workplace or in your neighbourhood - as part of this year's annual Hike for Hospice!Regardless of how, when, and where you choose to Hike, please join us at 10:30 am on Hike day for a BBQ lunch, music, games, and more! Returning this year: the Memorial Hikers' Wall. Please submit your story* to be displayed in our hospice home pre-event, and then again on event day at the venue (*please keep in mind space is limited). In addition to donating online, cash and cheque donations are also accepted! These fun and unique socks will be available for purchase for $10 (+ processing fee) through our Hike registration page, as well as on the day of the event. For every pair of socks purchased, three pairs will be donated to a local organization.We encourage all hikers to share your hike with us! Post your hike photos and tag @RotaryHospice on Instagram and @RotaryHospiceStratfordPerth on Facebook; we want to hear about your Hike for Hospice experience! Please know, however and whenever you choose to take your steps, your actions will have an impact on all those who will call Rotary Hospice home. There is no cost for an individual to stay at Rotary Hospice, however, there is a cost to operate our hospice home. Rotary Hospice must fundraise $350 per day, per room. Thank you for caring!
