Hosted by Moncton Dog RunnersWe’re excited to announce our Introduction Clinic for Harness Dog Sports happening on Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 AM (weather permitting) at the Gorge Road entrance of Mapleton Park.
🌞 This will be our only intro session before the summer break—you won’t want to miss it!Whether you’re curious about canicross, bikejoring, scootering, sledding, or cani-hiking, this beginner-friendly clinic will give you a solid foundation in harness dog sports. We always start on foot, as it’s the safest and most effective way to teach your dog new commands and teamwork.🐕 What You’ll Learn:
You and your dog will begin working together as a team through fun, practical exercises like:
✔️ Starting and stopping in sync
✔️ Speeding up and slowing down
✔️ Passing others calmly and safely
✔️ Navigating distractions with focus
✔️ Learning basic directional cuesWe'll also cover:

We’ll have gear available to borrow during the session. To participate, you’ll need:

2️⃣ A canicross belt with a bungee line or a hands-free leashProper fit is crucial, and we’ll be there to help ensure your setup is comfortable and safe for both you and your dog.💲 Cost: $45 per person
